Biography

Nat Hoffman is a set designer and visual artist based in New York City. Her artistic practice is grounded in an emphatically narrative approach to set design, employing a fundamental affection for research and archive work to craft spaces that are deeply and unequivocally human. Defined by interactions of the past and present, her work is layered, playful, and curious. When she's not covered in dust, Nat owns and operates a furniture, textile, and art retailer in Brooklyn's Fort Greene neighborhood, Nemo Galleryshop.
